Rice & Ramen opened its doors on 8/8/22 by wife and husband team,
Terrence and Naia Leon Guerrero. It’s a quintessential family owned and operated restaurant with deep roots in Guam, Korea, and LA.

Rice & Ramen’s menu is as diverse as its roots and has starters, rice bowls, ramens, lunch specials, and even has a luxury section on its menu that ranges from $10-$45 so that no one is priced out.

At R&R, we strive to bring quality, creative, and original food to the island of Guam while maintaining freshness. Everything is made from scratch. Our pure beef bone broth for our kalbi ramen is simmered for 3 days. Our garlic paste takes 3 hours to stew. Our sauces are blended by hand. Our bread is made in-house to order. When you dine here, we can guarantee that a lot of thought and care went into every dish.

Our overarching goal is to push the boundaries of what “island food” is by bringing high quality food that you can’t find anywhere else on Guam.

Terrence Leon Guerrero | Chef, Partner

Chef Terrence Leon Guerrero was born on Guam and graduated from Father Duenas in ‘07. He moved to LA soon after to attend Le Cordon Bleu to pursue a career in the culinary arts.

After completing his culinary program, he landed a job as a Line Cook at Nobu LA and eventually worked his way up as the Sous Chef. During his 8 year tenure, he launched Nobu Events for BNP Paribas Open. He was also an integral manager responsible for training the kitchen for Nobu Four Seasons Lanai in Hawaii. After almost a decade in fine dining, he pivoted as a Corporate Chef for Snapchat in Venice Beach where he managed their global food program.

Leon Guerrero approaches R&R with the same ethos as fine dining, but without the extravagance- everything is made from scratch, nothing is pre-cut, he takes no shortcuts. His overarching, long term goal is to bring unique, sophisticated, quality food to Guam using the freshest ingredients the land has to offer.
